Pumpence Privacy Policy

Pumpence (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a free mobile application that helps drivers in the United Kingdom find the cheapest nearby petrol, diesel, and EV charging stations. This policy explains exactly what data the app collects, why, and what we don’t collect.

We are committed to keeping Pumpence privacy-friendly: no user accounts, no advertising trackers (unless we add ads — see “Future changes” below), and no sale of data.

What we collect, and why

Location (used only on your device)

When you grant location permission, the app uses your current latitude and longitude to:

Your location is not transmitted to our servers in identifiable form. Each “nearby” request sends the coordinates to our backend so we can return stations close to that area — but we don’t store these coordinates against your identity, we don’t keep them after the request returns, and we don’t combine them with any account.
